Job summary

Murphy Geospatial – A Woolpert Company is seeking an Engineering Surveyor to join the Special Projects team in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. The role focuses on survey control establishment, traversing, post‑processing and report generation.

You will work with Leica equipment, support field and office activities, and travel across Europe as required. The position offers exposure to cutting‑edge geospatial methods within a globally connected firm.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ survey experience.
Safe Pass certification is required.
Proficient English, spoken and written.
Full EU/Irish Driver's licence (desirable).
Willingness to travel across Europe as needed.
Degree in survey-related field is desirable.

Responsibilities

Collaborate within a project team on surveying tasks, including field work.
Establish survey controls, gridlines, datums and traverses using Leica equipment.
Record survey data accurately on site per specs.
Prepare setout files and reports for high-profile projects.
Maintain survey instruments and ensure safety and quality standards.
Assist with field and office surveying assignments as needed.
