Job summary

BMS Performance Ireland is seeking an Engineering Manager in Co. Louth to lead a multidisciplinary design team across mechanical, electrical and BIM. You will ensure projects meet specifications, schedules and customer expectations while coordinating with internal teams.

You will act as the main engineering contact for customers, overseeing design output, technical requirements and variations, and driving continuous improvement within the function.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading engineering or design teams
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects
• Commercial awareness and experience handling project variations
• Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services background advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of 11 engineering and design professionals
• Manage design programmes, resources and project deliverables
• Oversee design quality, technical compliance and customer specifications
• Act as the primary engineering contact for customers and stakeholders
• Manage design changes, variations and technical queries
• Coordinate activities across engineering, BIM, manufacturing and project teams
• Drive continuous improvement within the engineering function
