Clio in Dublin is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead our Engineering team. You will work with a triad to understand business challenges, craft a roadmap, and design scalable software solutions.

The role requires hands-on development, strong leadership in SaaS, and the ability to hire, coach, and grow engineers. You will participate in code reviews and help steer technical strategy while shaping the team’s growth.

Qualifications

Demonstrated success leading software teams, preferably for large SaaS products.
Strong hands-on software development background and architecture understanding.
Able to hire, coach, and retain engineering talent in a fast-paced market.
Experience with building scalable systems and mentoring engineers at scale.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with your triad to understand business challenges and craft a roadmap for the team.
Design technical solutions with your team and guide architectural decisions.
Provide feedback on code reviews and architecture documentation to aid technical decisions.
Actively contribute to projects via coding and extensive code reviews.
Hold regular 1-on-1s with direct reports to support career growth and development.
