Job summary

Clio is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Dublin-based engineering team. You will help build scalable web applications, mentor teammates, and shape the technical roadmap in a fast-paced, distributed environment. This role supports collaboration across multiple global teams, including Toronto and Barcelona, with a focus on performance and reliability.

You will write quality code, solve complex problems, and balance simple vs. elegant solutions while growing our engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Experience building web applications at scale.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Strong mentorship experience in software development.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a technical stakeholder for multiple projects.
• Partnering with development managers to define technical roadmaps.
• Identify and resolve technical blockers to enable product opportunities.
• Write high quality, well-tested code.
• Collaborate with a team to solve complex problems for customers.
• Review and provide feedback on peers' code.
