Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Dublin is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Atlas Data Federation & Archiving team. You will lead a team responsible for Atlas Data Federation and Atlas Online Archive, building distributed, fault-tolerant backend systems that interface with AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The role requires 6+ years in software development and at least 3 years in people management, with strong communication, collaboration, and a passion for solving hard data infrastructure

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 3 years of people management experience.
• Experience leading teams building large-scale systems.
• Proficient in distributed backend design and development.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP and cloud storage primitives.
• Hands-on experience with petabyte-scale data infrastructure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
