Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Sustaining Engineer to manage the Product Lifecycle for Switchgear design. Switchgear is an Engineered-To-Order product with high complexity and variation across customer orders.

This role blends design work with manufacturing support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will maintain Switchgear designs within Oracle Product Lifecycle Management, drive design for manufacturability (safety, quality and efficiency), and provide design support for production and supply chain

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in product design
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred)
• 1-3+ years of experience in 3D modeling / 2D drafting
• Ability to create and troubleshoot control wiring diagrams
• Experience in Design for Manufacturability
• Excellent written & verbal communications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
