Job summary

Chubb Ireland Fire is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer based out of our Cork office. The role covers planned preventative maintenance, inspection, testing and minor corrective works on life safety systems including Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection, and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits in accordance with service schedules and contractual requirements
• Inspect, test, service and maintain Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection, and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems
• Diagnose faults efficiently and undertake first-fix repairs where possible
• Identify non-compliances, equipment defects, end-of-life issues, and system performance concerns, and clearly communicate findings to the customer and internal teams
• Produce accurate service documentation, test records, deficiency reports, and recommendations following each visit

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, inspection, testing, fault finding, and minor corrective works on a range of life safety systems including Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection, and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems. This role will cover Cork, Limerick and South Tipperary.

SALARY: Up to €65K (DoE) + On call + Overtime
