Job summary

Chubb Ireland Fire is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer based out of our Cork office. The role covers planned preventative maintenance, inspection, testing and minor corrective works on life safety systems including Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection, and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication.

You will service Cork, Limerick and South Tipperary, diagnose faults, complete service documentation, and communicate findings clearly to

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits in accordance with service schedules and contractual requirements
• Inspect, test, service and maintain Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection, and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems
• Diagnose faults efficiently and undertake first-fix repairs where possible
• Identify non-compliances, equipment defects, end-of-life issues, and system performance concerns, and clearly communicate findings to the customer and internal teams
• Produce accurate service documentation, test records, deficiency reports, and recommendations following each visit
