Job summary

Chubb Ireland Fire is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to service life safety systems from Cork, covering Cork, Limerick and South Tipperary. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, inspections, testing and fault finding on Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice systems.

This full-time role offers up to €65,000 DoE, on-call duties, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package including 20 days holiday, pension, life assurance, and

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining life safety systems is essential.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams is expected.
• Ability to identify issues and perform first-fix repairs where possible.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits in line with service schedules and contractual requirements.
• Inspect, test, service, and maintain: Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection, and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems.
• Diagnose faults efficiently and undertake first-fix repairs where possible.
• Identify non-compliances and communicate findings to customers and internal teams.
• Produce accurate service documentation and deficiency reports after each visit.
