Job summary

TELUS Digital in Cork, Ireland is hiring a Learning Services Specialist / Trainer to onboard and develop new hires, support upskilling initiatives, and partner with stakeholders to improve performance and learning outcomes. Qualifications

• Previous experience in Training, Learning & Development or Learning Services is essential.
• Certification in Training, Learning & Development or Adult Education is desirable.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and empathetic listening abilities.
• High level of proficiency in IT systems and a passion for technology.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Experience evaluating learning outcomes and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
• Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic operating setting.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding, upskilling, product, and specialised training programmes for new and existing team members.
• Collaborate with client training teams to support new product launches, process updates, and go-live initiatives.
• Design, maintain, and continuously improve training materials including manuals, assessments, exercises, handouts, and learning resources.
• Evaluate training effectiveness against learning objectives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support new hires throughout training and Gradbay periods to ensure a smooth transition into operations.
• Prepare and manage training environments including IT setup, seating arrangements, schedules, and training documentation.
• Collaborate with wider TELUS Digital training teams to share best practices and improve learning support across multiple accounts.
• Drive learner engagement through creative, interactive, and motivating facilitation techniques.
