Job summary

Enable Ireland is recruiting for an Energy Officer on a 2 year fixed contract. The role leads the development, implementation and monitoring of an Ireland-wide Energy Management Framework, ensuring alignment with sustainability targets and regulatory requirements.

You will establish and manage the organisation’s energy technical services, delivering high-quality support and project management across the estate.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with a full driver's licence.
• At least 6 years' experience in relevant businesses.
• Strong knowledge of Irish energy regulations and energy management.
• Ability to lead energy initiatives and manage complex programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of Ireland energy management framework.
• Establish and manage energy technical services delivering support across the organisation.
• Provide strategic leadership in energy management, systems and renewables.
• Drive energy consumption reductions and carbon emissions across Enable Ireland facilities.
• Collaborate with Heads of Service and Heads of Business Development on energy efficiency projects.
