Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking an Energy & Sustainability Consultant to join its growing energy team in Ireland. You will lead energy audits, BER assessments and advisory projects, analysing data to identify efficiency improvements and carbon-reduction opportunities.

You will collaborate with clients and project teams to integrate sustainability into design, construction and operations, ensuring compliance with SEAI standards and EU regulations while communicating findings clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Energy/Sustainability discipline.
• Strong experience in energy auditing, BER assessing, and sustainability consultancy.
• Familiarity with SEAI energy audit accreditation (SI 426) and/or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) desirable.
• Confident working with energy data and translating findings into practical client solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct energy and sustainability audits across commercial and public-sector buildings.
• Deliver non-domestic BER assessments and energy performance certification.
• Analyse energy data, preparing clear recommendations for energy efficiency and carbon reduction.

The Role:

As an Energy & Sustainability Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting clients to improve energy performance, reduce carbon emissions, and deliver on sustainability goals. You will analyse energy usage, identify opportunities for efficiency, and develop strategies that align with both regulatory compliance and best practice in sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
