Job summary

Kepak Group seeks a Trainee Energy Efficient Manager to join our 2027 Energy Usage Graduate Programme in Ireland. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple Kepak sites, managing energy efficiency projects and shaping a long-term strategy with training and mentorship to build a career in sustainability.

You will collaborate with senior teams, learn EMS tools, and contribute to our decarbonisation journey while traveling across sites in Ireland and the UK.

• Interest in project management and coordinating multi-site energy initiatives.
• Proficiency with computers; training on digital tools to optimise energy performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy leadership initiatives across Kepak sites with guidance from senior team members.
• Develop and manage a 5-year energy plan aligned with Origin Green & SBTI targets.
• Oversee Water Stewardship Strategy and integrate sustainability into operations.
• Create site energy maps to optimise energy flow and consumption.
• Learn and manage Energy Management Systems to drive efficiency improvements.
• Lead weekly site energy management meetings and represent sites in monthly reviews.
• Drive continuous improvements in energy usage with measurable outcomes.
• Support delivery of energy and water reduction projects with tangible results.
