Job summary

Harry Walsh Associates Ltd. is seeking a professional to manage technical operations for district heating schemes and to provide engineering support across teams. You will monitor energy costs, generate annual reports, and drive efficiency measures.

The role requires a Mechanical/Building Services/Energy Engineering background with a minimum Level 7 and at least two years in a relevant role; graduates with district heating knowledge will also be considered.

Qualifications

Min. Level 7 in mechanical, building services, Energy engineering or similar with at least 2 years’ experience in a relevant engineering role.
Graduate with a strong knowledge of district heating scheme will be considered.
Strong knowledge of building services and energy systems including gas, oil and biomass boilers, CHP’s, heat pumps, water systems, solar panels and EV chargers.

Responsibilities

Management of technical operations of district heating energy schemes.
Provide engineering and technical support to other teams within our organisation.
Monitor energy costs on an ongoing basis and advise of any changes.
Reporting including but not limited to yearly efficiency reports, project paybacks, efficiency measures, water reports etc.
Conducting technical and economic analysis to identify, evaluate and develop technical projects.
