Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking a part-time programme assistant to supervise children during activities and free play at local schools. The role runs Monday to Friday, 1.25pm to 5pm, with an hourly rate of €15–€15.75.

You will assist with homework, engage in planned activities, ensure safety, and support a vibrant, inclusive learning environment. Garda vetting and two written references are required before starting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with school-aged children.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting completed by us after interview.
• At least 2 written references checks required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor).
