Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking caring staff for before and after school clubs. Responsibilities include supervising children during activities, helping with homework, and leading indoor and outdoor activities in a safe, inclusive environment.

The role requires energy, a minimum 1 year experience with school-aged children, Garda vetting, work permit/visa, and two written references. Morning and after-school shifts are available, with on-site roles at partner schools.

Qualifications

• Garda vetting is essential
• Work Permit/VISA essential
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
• English proficiency required (verbal and written)
• Experience with school-aged children (minimum 1 year)

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor) daily
• Assist with games, crafts and group activities
• Maintain a safe, clean and inclusive environment
• Ensure smooth supervision during morning and after-school sessions
