Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking a caring supervisor to oversee after-school and holiday clubs. You will supervise children during activities and free play, assist with homework, and participate in a range of planned indoor and outdoor activities with energy and enthusiasm.

The role requires experience with school-aged children (min 1 year), basic knowledge of child development, and strong English skills. Garda vetting, work permit, two references, and own transport are required.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
  • Basic knowledge of child development.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
  • Work Permit/ VISA essential.
  • At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.
  • Must have own transport.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise children during activities and free play.
  • Assist with homework and educational tasks.
  • Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor) with the children.
  • Provide energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
  • Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
