Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic after-school supervisor to join our school-based clubs. You will supervise children, support homework, and lead engaging activities after class.

This role requires energy, reliability, and a minimum of one year experience with school-aged children. Garda vetting, a valid work permit, and two written references are required before starting. Hours are Monday to Friday 2pm to 6pm, on-site at partner schools, ensuring safe, fun daily routines.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work permit/VISA essential.
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
