Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment and is hiring a Registered Nurse – Endoscopy Procedure Room for a leading hospital in Limerick, Ireland. This is a permanent full-time/part-time position with 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities include delivering safe nursing care for endoscopy procedures, clinical assessment, documentation, and collaboration with the MDT to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMBI registration or eligibility.
• Minimum 1 year post-registration experience in acute care nursing.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development.
• Experience in Endoscopy and/or Flexible cystoscopy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
• Undertake clinical assessment and management within the care pathway.
• Maintain accurate documentation before, during and after procedures.
• Promote patient-centred care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Prepare patients and address questions or concerns about procedures.
• Maintain infection prevention and control practices in line with policies.
