Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy Procedure Room in Limerick, Ireland. This full-time role offers permanent contract with options for part-time hours. You will work within a leading hospital, delivering endoscopy nursing care in a busy clinical environment.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, preparation for procedures, documentation, infection control, and collaboration with consultants and the MDT. Registration with NMBI and ongoing CPD are required.

Qualifications

• Registered, or eligible for registration, with the NMBI.
• Minimum of one year post-registration experience in acute care nursing.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD.
• Endoscopy and/or flexible cystoscopy experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
• Undertake clinical assessment and management within the care pathway.
• Escalate patient concerns with the Consultant or Senior Nursing Management as required.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation before, during and after procedures.
• Promote patient-centred care in collaboration with the MDT and services.
• Maintain infection prevention and control practices in line with guidelines.
