Job summary

Corlann is seeking a Social Care Worker for the West Region in Roscommon. The role offers permanent part-time posts in Hyde Services locations, with duties spanning residential, respite, day settings, or in community/home settings.

The appointee will work within a dynamic team, supporting adults to live more independently and participate in community activities. Applicants must be registered with CORU or eligible under the Section 91 route, hold a manual driving licence, and demonstrate fluency

Qualifications

• Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU (evidence of application status is necessary).
• Be eligible under Section 91 (existing practitioner) route for registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU (evidence of application status is necessary).
• A full clean manual Driving Licence to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads is essential; Class D1 licence may be required.
• Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement.
• Experience with individuals with an intellectual disability and challenging behaviour is desirable; full training will be provided.
• Experience in goal setting and programme implementation through a person-centred approach is desirable.
• Working within a staff team and shift leading at times.
