Job summary

Muiriosa Foundation Ltd is seeking Social Care Workers for Laoís Residential Services. You will support individuals to realise their vision for a good life, using person-centred approaches and helping them pursue what matters most to them.

Ideal candidates will have a CORU-approved Diploma in Social Care, knowledge of HIQA Standards, and a valid manual driving licence in Ireland. You should be ready for a variety of shifts including days, weekends, and sleep-overs.

Qualifications

• Relevant recognised Diploma in Social Care / Applied Social Studies in Social Care/Social Care Practice (minimum Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications) CORU approved.
• Knowledge of HIQA Standards.
• A valid licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland.

• Lead initiatives to help individuals connect with their local community and develop authentic relationships.
• Provide person-centred planning and individualised support approaches.
• Be available for day, weekend, waking night duties and sleep-overs as required.
