Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Social Care (Level 7 CORU approved) to be registered with CORU.
• Knowledge of HIQA Standards is required.
• A valid licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland.
• Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to lead a life of their choosing through person-centred approaches.
• Develop valued social roles and authentic relationships within the community.
• Assist with communication needs and behaviours of concern using person-directed approaches.
• Engage in person centred planning and individualised support in various living locations.
