Job summary

Enable Ireland in Dublin is seeking an Adult Services Support Worker to join the Dublin Adult Services CHO7 area Crumlin/Rialto. The role is permanent part-time, 35 hours per week, with a pro rata salary scale of €35,771 to €43,288 per annum.

You will work in a person-centred service supporting adults with disabilities, with duties to promote inclusion and programme participation. Applicants should have QQI Level 5 in Social Care or related field, fluent English, a valid driving licence, and be

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award (8 modules) in Social Care/Disability/Care skills or relevant health related area.
• Holder of CPC Driver card and a full, clean driving licence.
• Fluency in English; eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Provide opportunities for people with disabilities to develop options in training, employment and inclusion.
• Support service users to participate in programmes and activities within the service.
• Work in a person-centred approach aligned with Enable Ireland’s policies and procedures.
• Promote dignity, respect and development of choice for service users.
