Job summary

The Portfolio Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Litigation Consultant in Dublin to manage workplace relations and Labour Court matters. You will handle claims, draft responses, visit clients, and prepare case materials for hearings, including remote proceedings where needed.

You will liaise with tribunals and claimants, support mediation, and provide updates to management. A relevant law/HR qualification is required and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing and processing employment law claims.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate knowledge effectively within a team.
• Formal qualification in Law, Employment Law, HR, or Industrial Relations.

Responsibilities

• Review claims brought against clients in employment tribunal bodies (WRC and Labour Court).
• Support mediation/conciliation matters in WRC and Labour Court.
• Make early contact with clients and take instructions for case conduct.
• Visit clients across Ireland as required.
• Advise clients on merits and prospects of defending claims.
• Obtain documentation and draft responses for client approval.
• Prepare hearing books/documents for hearings.
• Identify and liaise with witnesses.
• Correspond with WRC, Labour Court, claimants' representatives and clients.
• Regularly review cases and provide updates for cover status.
• Prepare reports for the company on claims as required.
• Complete administrative tasks and support other departments as needed.
• Deliver training internally and externally.
• Discuss company services with clients and assist in retention/new referrals.
• Maintain knowledge of employment law to required standards.
• Attend company offices in UK and Ireland as required.
