Job summary

Consulting Vanuatu Limited is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced litigation, dispute resolution, and investigations lawyer (5+ PQE) to join our dynamic practice group. You will manage a varied caseload, draft pleadings, liaise with counsel, and advise on relevant case law and legislation.

The role offers hybrid work, a competitive salary up to €120k, and opportunities for mediation/arbitration, business development, and career progression within a forward‑thinking team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ PQE in a medium-tier law firm.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Strong leadership and ownership of end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation caseload in all courts, drafting pleadings and liaising with counsel.
• Work on cross-border and shareholder disputes, white-collar crime and related matters.
• Advise clients on relevant case law and legislation; client-facing role.
• Advise on ADR options and participate in mediations/arbitrations.
• Promote effective dispute resolution and contribute to business development.

The Role

• Managing litigation caseload in all courts to include drafting pleadings, liaising with counsel (where applicable) and management of case files to conclusion.
• Working on a varied caseload to include, cross border and shareholder disputes, white collar crime, aviation insurance cases amongst others
• Advising clients on relevant case law and legislation. This is a client facing role.
• Advising clients on ADR options, and participating in mediations and arbitrations.
• Advising clients on how to resolve disputes effectively.
• Networking and Business Development duties.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 5+ PQE in a medium-tier law firm
• Excellent presentation and client-facing communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities, initiative, and ownership of end-to-end delivery.
• Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• This role may also suit a litigation lawyer returning to the workforce after a career break.
