Job summary

The Central Bank of Ireland is seeking an HR Advisory Associate on a Contract of Indefinite Duration within the Human Resources Division. This role supports line managers on employee relations, case management from probation to disciplinary matters, and aims to minimise risk while ensuring fair and compliant processes.

New entrants start on BE salary scale at €39,871; the Bank operates a hybrid working model with a focus on wellbeing and policy governance.

Qualifications

• 3 years' general HR experience, including working with line managers.
• Experience and understanding of HR employee relations practices.
• Knowledge of current Irish Employment legislation.
• Ability to assess potential problems and make decisions affecting the business.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience in organisations undergoing rapid change.

Responsibilities

• Support line management on people issues in a confidential, compliant manner.
• Progress cases from initiation to completion across disciplinary, grievance and performance areas.
• Provide guidance on appeals and other aspects of performance management.
• Assist Occupational Health with referrals and liaising with managers.
• Drive the Wellness Strategy and align policies with the bank's wellbeing agenda.
• Educate HR colleagues and management on processes including Disciplinary and Dignity at Work.
• Regularly review HR policies to ensure they are fit for purpose and compliant.
