Job summary

Care Connect Group IRL is seeking compassionate Community Support Workers to join our team across Cork, Kerry, Waterford, and beyond. You will support individuals in their homes and communities, helping with daily living, promoting independence and dignity, and building meaningful relationships. You don't need years of care experience; attitude, reliability and willingness to learn matter.

Garda Vetting is required. QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare or Social Care is essential.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
Empathy and patience are essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to different client needs.

Responsibilities

Providing compassionate, respectful and person-centred support in homes and communities.
Supporting individuals with ADLs and personal routines while promoting dignity and independence.
Encouraging participation in local community and activities.
Accompanying individuals to appointments, social activities, shopping and events.
Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns.
