Job summary

Albida Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Junior Workday Payroll Consultant to support payroll transformation and implementation projects for clients across the UK and Ireland. This role offers hands-on Workday experience in a client-delivery environment alongside senior consultants on live projects.

Qualifications

• Basic exposure to payroll processes (in-house, bureau, or consulting).
• Interest in HR systems or payroll technology; prior Workday exposure is a plus but not essential.
• Strong Excel skills and data handling.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration of Workday Payroll elements under guidance of senior consultants.
• Assist with payroll testing, including parallel runs and reconciliation checks.
• Help prepare and maintain project documentation, configuration workbooks, and training materials.
• Support data validation and troubleshooting of payroll issues during testing and hypercare phases.
• Attend client workshops and calls, taking notes and following up on actions.
• Assist with year-end processing tasks and statutory reporting support for UK and Ireland.
• Build understanding of client business requirements and translate them into system configuration.
• Collaborate with the wider delivery team across HR and finance workstreams.
