Job summary

Adecco Ireland is seeking a Payroll Analyst on a temporary contract to join a busy payroll team in Dublin. You will support accurate payroll processing across EMEA, managing deadlines and delivering customer-focused service in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has prior EMEA payroll experience, knowledge of RSU processing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues independently while collaborating with HR, Finance and external providers.

• Experience processing payroll across one or more EMEA countries.
• Knowledge of RSU processing.

Payroll Analyst (Temporary Contract)

Working Arrangements:

• Contract Type: Temporary
• Hours: Full-time, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Model: Hybrid - Central Dublin

Key Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of payroll across EMEA countries. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll while adhering to local legislation and internal policies.
• Managing payroll activities, including processing RSUs (Restricted Stock Units) and other compensation items.
• Reviewing payroll data for discrepancies and resolving issues before payroll deadlines.
• Handling multiple payroll deadlines and competing priorities in a high-energy environment.
• Responding to employee payroll queries with professionalism and a customer-focused approach.
• Collaborating with internal teams, payroll providers, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Identifying recurring payroll errors or compliance issues and recommending improvements.
• Escalating complex matters as necessary while independently resolving day-to-day payroll issues.
• Maintaining accurate payroll records and supporting audits and reporting requirements.
• Contributing to ongoing improvements in payroll processes and controls.

Experience & Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Payroll Analyst or in a similar payroll position.
• Demonstrated experience processing or supporting payroll across one or more EMEA countries.
• Knowledge or practical experience of RSU processing.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or matrixed organisation.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a solid understanding of payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Confidence in resolving issues independently and knowing when to escalat.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying payroll errors and opportunities for process improvement.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, especially when addressing employee payroll queries.
• Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers is advantageous.
