Job summary

Savareen Ltd is seeking an Accommodation Support Worker to join our Dublin City Centre team. You will assist residents with daily accommodation needs, registrations, inductions and departures while upholding safety, dignity and confidentiality.

Key duties include coordinating access to healthcare, housing and welfare services, maintaining accurate records, and working with colleagues and external providers to deliver high-quality support in an emergency accommodation setting.

Qualifications

• Relevant recognised qualification at NFQ Level 7 or equivalent.
• Strong communication, organisational and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic record-keeping systems.
• Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily accommodation needs, arrivals, registrations, inductions and departures.
• Explain accommodation procedures, house rules and available support services.
• Assist residents in accessing healthcare, housing, welfare, education, employment and community services.
• Maintain accurate resident records, electronic databases and incident reports.
• Conduct welfare, safety and security checks and report safeguarding concerns.
• Maintain professional boundaries and respond appropriately to incidents and challenging situations.
• Liaise with colleagues and external service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
• Follow safeguarding, confidentiality, health and safety and emergency procedures.
