Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited is seeking a Business Manager for EMEA Business & Project Controls to own the operating rhythm and core business mechanisms that enable the function and wider EMEA DCCD organisation to operate efficiently, consistently and at scale.

You will translate strategic priorities into clear actions, governance mechanisms, and measurable outcomes, partnering with senior leaders to drive planning, reporting, headcount, and continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and decisions.
• Experience in executive-level verbal and written communication.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering goals.
• Ability to present complex technical information clearly to executives.
• 7+ years in business operations, program management, construction, infrastructure, or related environment.
• 5+ years managing governance or organizational mechanisms for a multi-stakeholder organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the EMEA rhythm of business with calendars, owners, inputs and outputs.
• Coordinate annual and quarterly planning cycles and align long-term strategy with execution.
• Own Focus Area governance, milestones, risks and dependencies to completion.
• Coordinate executive business reviews and produce concise, decision-oriented reporting.
• Support hiring, onboarding, headcount planning and governance documentation.
• Develop communications and governance artefacts; manage SharePoint and Wikis.
• Identify recurring pain points and coordinate simple scalable improvements.
