Job summary

Google seeks a Corporate Counsel for EMEA Export who will handle complex export control and sanctions issues across Google’s products and services. You will partner with Product Counsel, Regulatory Affairs, Policy, and Trust and Safety to ensure compliance and risk management in a fast-evolving tech landscape.

Qualifications

• JD/LL.B. or equivalent.
• Must be admitted to the bar or authorized to practice law in the posting jurisdiction.
• At least 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.

Responsibilities

• Analyze EMEA export and sanctions laws and regulate product compliance across Google.
• Provide legal guidance to logistics and operations to facilitate export of physical goods within EMEA.
• Support ad hoc export control inquiries and participate in audits of export compliance.
• Keep up to date with export control developments and implement guidance across the company.
