Job summary

Barden | B Corp, headquartered in Dublin, seeks an experienced Export Controls & Compliance professional to join the Corporate Trade team. You will own EMEA export controls and sanctions compliance, partnering with senior stakeholders to manage regulatory risk and enable compliant international trade.

Responsibilities include interpreting EU/EMEA regulations, leading classification, licensing, reporting, and developing controls and automation (SAP GTS).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in export controls within multinational or consulting environments.
• Strong knowledge of EU export controls, Dual-Use Regulation and sanctions regimes.
• Experience across multiple EMEA jurisdictions and with EU General Export Authorisations.
• Experience with SAP GTS or similar trade compliance systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate complex regulation into practical solutions.
• Analytical, commercially minded and confident working with senior stakeholders.

• Interpret changing EU/EMEA regulations and translate them into practical business guidance.
• Lead export classification, licensing, authorisations and regulatory reporting.
• Identify compliance risks and drive mitigation, audits and remediation activity.
• Develop and improve export compliance processes, controls and automation, including SAP GTS.
• Deliver training and provide guidance to business, legal, engineering and commercial teams.
• Support trade assessments and ensure robust record-keeping and governance.
