Job summary

Clio is seeking an experienced Employee Relations expert to own EMEA ER across multiple markets, adapting global policy to local law with high autonomy. It delivers the ER framework in the EMEA context and leads investigations, coaching, and policy development across the region.

You will lead Spanish labour relations, govern regional compliance programs, localise frameworks, monitor law changes, and report insights to regional and global leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading workplace investigations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of employment law fundamentals across multiple EMEA markets.
• Experience negotiating with employee representatives and/or trade unions in Spain.

Responsibilities

• Own EMEA ER caseload across multiple markets, including intake, investigation, resolution and documentation.
• Lead thorough, impartial investigations with witness interviews and evidence assessment.
• Advise managers and People Partners on disciplinary processes, grievances, and terminations.
• Oversee Spanish labour relations and dealings with employee representatives and unions.
• Govern end-to-end compliance programs (Equality Plan, harassment protocol, whistleblowing, etc.).
• Localise global ER frameworks to land legally with local employees and bodies.
• Monitor employment law changes and advise on risk mitigation with Legal and outside counsel.
• Build manager capability through practical ER training.
