Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a high-impact Director/Senior Director of Business Development to lead strategic growth initiatives across Mid-size Pharmaceutical accounts in the EMEA region. The role focuses on shaping partnerships, driving complex solution sales, and positioning IQVIA’s RDS capabilities as catalysts in drug development.

You will build and execute comprehensive sales plans, maintain deep knowledge of IQVIA services, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

Requires 10+ years in BD within Clinical Research Organizations.
Proven success managing and growing strategic accounts in pharma.
Strong knowledge of global clinical development and regulatory pathways.
Executive presence with communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

Achieve annual sales targets with pharmaceutical clients across IQVIA offerings.
Maintain knowledge of IQVIA services for cross-sell opportunities.
Prospect new business opportunities and manage target accounts.
Establish and execute comprehensive sales plans for each account.
Build long-term relationships with decision-makers and understand customer needs.
Coordinate with operations and managers to develop and present proposals.
Lead sales presentations and mentor junior sales staff.
