Job summary

IPS is seeking a Director of Building Services (M&E) – EMEA to lead the Building Services discipline across the region, ensuring quality through audits and alignment with global procedures. The role can be based in Dublin or Birmingham and reports to the Senior Director, Design (Facility) – EMEA.

This senior leadership position requires extensive pharma/Biopharma facility experience, strategic planning, people leadership, and ability to guide proposals, budgets, and project delivery while

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the design of Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical facilities for the cGMP production.
• A Beng (Hons) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience preparing preliminary and final design documents including AF&IDs, P&ID’s, Single Line Diagrams, BMS I/O.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for the discipline.
• Lead day-to-day execution across the EMEA region.
• Coordinate with Regional Senior Directors, Project Managers and Proposal Managers on scope, cost and scheduling.
• Define cost-effective workflows and design detail levels to achieve project goals.
• Develop Building Services framework, standards and procedures; align with IPS quality management.
