Job summary

IPS, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking an Associate Director of Civil & Structural - EMEA to lead the CSA discipline across the EMEA region from Dublin or Birmingham. You will guide teams, ensure high-quality deliverables, mentor staff, and support business development with technical proposals.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the design of Pharmaceutical and BioPharmaceutical facilities for cGMP production.
• Ability to lead and manage teams, plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate technical work.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• BEng (Hons) in Civil & Structural Engineering; Chartered Engineer (MICE or IStructE).
• Flexible, collaborative, and able to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Civil & Structural team in EMEA under the Director of CSA - EMEA.
• Coordinate scope, cost, planning, and scheduling with directors and managers.
• Develop and maintain design deliverables compliant with cGMP and IPS standards.
• Drive innovation and IPS Digital Transformation initiatives.
• Support business development with technical input and proposals.
• Liaise with senior directors to ensure project alignment.
• Mentor and develop staff, manage recruitment and performance.
