Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a strategic, hands-on B2B communications leader for the EMEA region. The role reports to the Head of B2B Comms and will be a senior member of a small, high-impact team.

You will shape and deliver OpenAI’s communications strategy, connecting global priorities with regional needs and leading day-to-day execution across markets. Qualifications

• Substantial senior communications experience in-house or at an agency.
• Track record leading regional or international communications programmes.

Responsibilities

• Drive the EMEA B2B communications strategy with clear audiences, narratives and outcomes.
• Lead integrated campaigns across earned and owned channels.
• Build a pipeline of customer and ecosystem stories showing tangible impact.
• Translate complex technology and product developments into clear business stories.
• Lead communications for launches, executive moments and tentpole events.
• Maintain relationships with business, technology and trade media across the region.
• Advise senior spokespeople with briefing materials and engagement plans.
• Collaborate with country leads and global teams to align regional and global strategy.
• Identify opportunities and reputational risks, providing timely counsel.
• Manage agency partners, budgets and operating rhythms; uphold high standards in thinking and execution.
• Develop team members and foster a collaborative, scrappy culture.
