Job summary

Scholar Rock, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager/Associate Director Accounting to lead the monthly close for EMEA, coordinating with the global team and ensuring SOX compliance in a fast-growing biotechnology environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, ERP experience (NetSuite/SAP), and the ability to manage multiple priorities across CH, IE, DE markets while partnering with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience in a high-growth environment.
• Big 4 experience is a strong plus.
• Proficient with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with NetSuite or SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close process for EMEA entities (Revenue and OPEX).
• Implement and maintain GTN accounting processes with reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end financial schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Partner with Accounts Payable for EMEA.
• Support Concur tool for EMEA employees.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies including SOX compliance.
• Perform detailed account analyses and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support intercompany financial flows.
• Provide statutory accounting support and coordinate with external firms.
• Serve as RTR/RTP go-to for EMEA.
• Support ad hoc projects (cash collection, payroll accounting).
