Job summary

AstraZeneca Dublin is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to own end-to-end Record to Report for designated EMEA entities. You will partner across finance, operations and an outsourced provider to deliver accurate, timely results and support local statutory audits.

This role blends IFRS, US GAAP and local GAAP with continuous improvement, SOX controls and process simplification to accelerate insight. It is a hybrid, office-based position with three days per week in the Dublin office.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• 2+ years PQE experience in finance or Controlling.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Record to Report for designated EMEA entities.
• Collaborate with outsourced provider to ensure timely close.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve items.
• Support statutory audits and year-end integrated audit.
• Provide timely financial analysis and respond to queries.
• Operate within the SOX control framework.
• Drive continuous improvement to simplify close processes.
