Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Accountant for Statutory Financial Reporting to lead preparation of European statutory statements and support various accounting projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, and rigorous attention to deadlines.

You will work with local advisors and the Jazz Corporate Group Accounting team, ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP and local EU GAAP where applicable.

Qualifications

• 7+ years post-qualification experience in accounting.
• 7+ years with statutory financial statements.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP; EU GAAP advantageous.
• Experience with European Statutory Reporting advantageous.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Blackline, Oracle and Workiva advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely statutory financial statements per applicable standards and regs.
• Balance Sheet governance and BPO engagement for financial statements.
• Liaise with local country advisors for local GAAP application.
• Coordinate with Jazz Corporate Group Accounting and BPO teams.
• Serve as main contact for external auditors and provide information timely.
• Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting.
