Job summary

PA Consulting is seeking an exceptional Embedded Software Engineer to join our Bray team in Ireland. You will contribute across the full development lifecycle for high-profile client projects, working with electronics, software, and mechanical engineers to deliver robust embedded solutions.

You will use C/C++/Rust and Python, experience with Zephyr OS and embedded Linux, and collaborate with clients to translate complex requirements into practical, reliable software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronic engineering, software engineering or computer science from a leading university.
• Experience developing software for embedded systems and real-time OS environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for embedded systems across the product lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with electronics, mechanical, and hardware engineers and with clients to explain technical concepts.
• Apply test-driven development and CI/CD practices to deliver robust embedded solutions.
