Job summary

PA Consulting in Bray, Ireland is seeking an exceptional Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. You will work on products for world-leading brands, solving complex engineering challenges from concept through to deployment and in-field maintenance.

You will apply C++, C or Rust on embedded platforms, collaborate with electronics and hardware teams, and communicate complex ideas clearly to clients and colleagues. This role is based in Bray and primarily office-based.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronic engineering, software engineering or CS from a leading university.
• Ability to gain appropriate security clearance may be required for some client work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across the full development lifecycle from concept to delivery and maintenance.
• Develop and integrate software for embedded systems using modern workflows.
• Collaborate with electronics, hardware engineers and product teams to meet requirements.
