Job summary

Google Ireland Ltd in Ireland seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customer accounts, turning frontier AI into production-grade agentic solutions. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke systems inside the customer environment, bridging prototype and reality for enterprise-scale deployments.

Address data readiness, state-management challenges, and security perimeters while collaborating with pre-sales and product teams to ensure long-term project success and high customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience in Python or similar.
• Experience building data pipelines using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience shipping production-grade AI solutions on cloud platforms.
• Experience leading customer discovery sessions.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex AI applications transitioning from prototypes to production-grade workflows.
• Connect Google's AI products with customer infrastructure, APIs, and data silos.
• Build evaluation pipelines and observability for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify and formalize reusable patterns for product feedback.
• Co-build with pre-sales and product teams to ensure long-term success.
