Job summary

Google Ireland Ltd seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI products with production environments within customer settings. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions, addressing data readiness and state-management challenges to drive enterprise-grade AI maturity.

You will embed with accounts, provide white-glove deployment, and feedback real-world insights to Google Cloud. Collaboration with DeepMind minds will support solving customer challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience (8 years of software development with Python or similar).
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using both vector databases and RAG-like architectures for enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience taking production-grade AI solutions from conception to launch and architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Ability to communicate in French, German or other European language fluently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows (e.g., multi-agent systems) that drive ROI.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between Google's AI products and customer's live infrastructure, including APIs and data silos.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to ensure accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and friction points in Google's AI stack and convert them into reusable modules or formal feature requests for Engineering teams.
• Co-build with pre-sales and product teams to instill Google-grade development practices for long-term project success.
