Job summary

Google Cloud Consulting seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI products with production-grade reality at customer sites. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions within client environments, embracing an entrepreneur’s mindset.

You will lead the delivery of enterprise AI solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging Google’s AI portfolio, including Gemini models and Vertex AI, to drive customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 5 years of software development experience with Python or similar languages.
• Experience building pipelines for structured/unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures for enterprise AI.
• Experience taking AI-driven solutions from concept to production on cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex AI applications transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code the integration between Google’s AI products and customers’ live infrastructure.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and create reusable modules or feature requests for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with pre-sales and product teams to promote Google-grade development practices.
