Job summary

Trump International Doonbeg is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform skilled work on interior and exterior facilities, ensuring buildings are safe, functional and well maintained at a luxury resort. The role reports to the Property Operations & Maintenance Manager and is a permanent, full-time position within the Facilities department.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in mechanical/electrical or engineering is desirable.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Repair electrical systems, lighting, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Troubleshoot plumbing leaks and heating problems.
• Conduct HVAC maintenance and system cleaning.
• Address structural maintenance such as walls, ceilings, floors, and doors.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and service engineers.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used.
• Experience with BMS and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Experience with both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
