Job summary

Trump International Doonbeg is seeking a Lead Greenkeeper to head a 15–30 person team, driving daily maintenance and grooming of greens, tees, fairways and roughs to the highest standards. You will plan schedules, mentor staff, and ensure best practice in turf care and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or mentoring junior staff (3–5 years).
• NVQ Level 3 in Sports Turf Management or regional equivalent preferred.
• Valid PA1/PA2 pesticide certificates or regional equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and supervise daily tasks of the greenkeeping crew (15–30).
• Oversee turf maintenance: mowing greens, tees, fairways, roughs; prepare for tournaments and play.
• Ensure safety, PPE use, and equipment maintenance; monitor chemicals and irrigation as needed.
