EZO EV Charging seeks a qualified electrician to install, commission and maintain EV charging equipment across Ireland. The role covers domestic, commercial, and public projects with nationwide travel, ensuring safety and high workmanship standards.

You will complete testing, fault finding and reporting, while collaborating with customers and fellow technicians to deliver reliable charging solutions. A strong emphasis on quality and safety is maintained throughout field operations.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Electrician with recognised Irish electrical qualifications.
  • Experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Install, wire and commission EV charging units to manufacturer specs and standards.
  • Carry out electrical testing, fault finding and remedial works.
  • Complete domestic, commercial and public EV charger installations.
  • Assess installations and identify upgrades or remedial works.
  • Install electrical infrastructure including cabling, containment, protection and distribution equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults with EV charging equipment and related systems.
  • Complete installation documentation, test certificates and site reports accurately.
  • Liaise with customers, site managers and other contractors.

We are a fast-growing EV charging company delivering electric vehicle charging solutions to customers nationwide. As demand for EV infrastructure continues to grow, we are expanding our installation and field service team and are looking for a qualified electrician to join us.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing business at the forefront of Ireland’s transition to electric mobility.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated, reliable and safety-focused Qualified Electrician to carry out the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of EV charging equipment across Ireland.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of domestic, commercial and public EV charging projects, travelling to customer sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, wire and commission EV charging units in accordance with manufacturer specifications and relevant electrical standards.
  • Carry out electrical testing, fault finding and remedial works.
  • Complete domestic, commercial and public EV charger installations.
  • Assess electrical installations and identify any upgrades or remedial works required.
  • Install associated electrical infrastructure, including cabling, containment, protection and distribution equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults with EV charging equipment and associated electrical systems.
  • Complete installation documentation, test certificates and site reports accurately.
  • Liaise professionally with customers, site managers and other contractors.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and customer service.
  • Follow all company health & safety procedures and electrical regulations.
  • Represent the company professionally while working on customer sites.
  • Travel nationwide as required.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified electrician with recognised Irish electrical qualifications.
  • Demonstrable experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety and testing procedures.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationwide.
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently while also being part of a growing team.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Previous experience installing EV chargers.
  • Experience with domestic, commercial or industrial electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of EV charging systems and associated electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience with solar PV, battery storage or other renewable-energy technologies.
  • Relevant EV charging or manufacturer-specific training/certification.
